[포토] 서울 1호 5.18 조형물 '오월 걸상' (2019년-39주년)

5.18 민주화운동 기념일을 일주일여 앞둔 10일 서울 중구 명동성당 앞에 5·18 광주민주화운동 정신을 기억하자는 의미를 담은 기념 조형물 ‘오월 걸상’이 설치돼 있다. 오월걸상위원회는 일본군 위안부 피해자들을 기리는 ‘평화의 소녀상’처럼 5·18 정신 계승하기 위해 ‘오월 정신의 전국화, 현재화’를 기치로 내걸고 전국 여러 곳에 5·18 정신을 기억하는 오월 걸상을 설치하는 사업을 진행하고 있다. 명동의 오월 걸상은 부산과 전남 목포에 오월 걸상이 설치된 이후 전국에서 세 번째다./김현민 기자 kimhyun81@
