[부고] 나병식(5.18민주유공자)회원 부친상

나병식(5.18민주유공자)회원의 부친(故 나정주님)께서 
2011. 07. 08(금) 오전3시 별세하셨습니다.
 

현재 풀빛 출판사를 운영하고 계신 나병식님은 1970년 서울대 문리대 국사학과 입학 이후 현재에 이르기까지 민주화운동에 헌신하였으며 출판 문화운동을 발전시키는 데 크게 기여하셨습니다.

특히 1985년 광주학살을 최초로 폭로한 <죽음을 넘어 시대의 어둠을 넘어>를 출판하여 5.18의 진실을 알렸고 이와 관련하여 압수,장기수배,투옥 등의 고초를 겪으면서도 이후에도 5.18관련 도서를 비롯하여 사회과학서적을 계속 발간함으로써 출판을 통한 민주화운동의 촉진,발전에 기여하였습니다. 

민주화를 향한 긴 여정에 본인은 말할 것도 없고 필시 부모님의 근심과 안타까움, 가족들의 고초가 따랐을 터, 부친상을 당하신 나병식 회원과 가족들이 얼마나 애통하실지...더구나 얼마전부터 암투병 중인 나병식회원의 황망함과 상심함이 얼마나 크실지...무어라 위로의 말을 전하는 것조차 허망하여 말문이 막힙니다. 

슬픔 중에 계실 나병식회원과 가족들에게 모쪼록 선후배 동지들,친지들의 위로와 격려가 함께 하기를 기원하며 삼가 고인의 명복을 마음모아 기원합니다.
